Understanding the criteria for web searching is vital in the business environment because if you are unable to locate specific information/answers in relation to your job, than how can one expect to last with a company. The internet is the most valuable resource a company has, and many would not survive without it. For example, Amazon.com is an online store that sells a multitude of products, which only relies on the internet because it has no official store, and if every employee was incapable of knowing what search engines would be best to advertise on to attract customers, then it would not be where it is today. By clicking on the title of this blog, you will be linked to a website that incorporates every search engine under its specified category. This site gives any user the ability to find exactly what they are looking for, as long as you choose the search engine that falls under that category you require.

Week 3: Clear
The internet is the most widely known and used resource in regards to shopping, research, advertising, or answers to just about any questions you may have. Now as simple as that may seem, depending on the subject of what you are looking for, going to any random search engine may not be the most helpful, unless you know the category for what each search engine is used towards. Each search engine is specifically designed under a certain subject, such as all-purpose, books, business, games, jobs, etc. The reason for this is so any user can find what they are looking for much faster and probably from a more reliable resource.

Week 1: Muddy
Copyrighting is a predicated law that implements an abundance of rules and regulations so others may not claim someone else's work as their own. Although, many people across the world break this law on a daily basis inadvertently or by choice, and I believe many people would grasp the aspect of what exactly copyrighting is if they were actually taught what all the rules are. Now this may seem somewhat easy, but there are more rules to follow and understand than you think.
This particular section was not necessarily difficult to understand about what it is, but trying to remember all the rules and regulations seemed impossible due to the prodigious amounts set forth. If memorizing the rules were easy, then I wouldn't be writing this blog or providing the link to a website, which is accessible by clicking on the title of the blog, that supplies any and all subjects related to copyrighting. The following link will even tell you how to copyright your own material. I believe that especially students should use sites like this so they can get a better understanding about what you can and cannot copyright, because students need more than teachers telling them to site everything you write about. This would not only give them a better understanding towards writing papers, but to know this a real law that someone can be prosecuted for.
In closing, I would like to provide some insightful rules on permissible types of media that I never knew about or was taught in school so you can get a taste of how strict copyrighting is. First, in relation to illustrations or photographs used, you must know that you can use no more than five images from one artist or photographer, and no more than 10% or 15 images, whichever is less. Second, motion media can be used, but only up to 10% of the total or three minutes, whichever is less. Lastly, when using text material, you can use 10% of the total or 1,000 words, whichever is less. Understand though, this only applies as long as you provide a reliable resource thats credits the author or creator. Anyways, I hope this helps anyone in need of questioning on Copyrighting, and remember there is a link provided that can answer any questions you may have.
