Understanding the criteria for web searching is vital in the business environment because if you are unable to locate specific information/answers in relation to your job, than how can one expect to last with a company. The internet is the most valuable resource a company has, and many would not survive without it. For example, Amazon.com is an online store that sells a multitude of products, which only relies on the internet because it has no official store, and if every employee was incapable of knowing what search engines would be best to advertise on to attract customers, then it would not be where it is today. By clicking on the title of this blog, you will be linked to a website that incorporates every search engine under its specified category. This site gives any user the ability to find exactly what they are looking for, as long as you choose the search engine that falls under that category you require.

Week 3: Clear
The internet is the most widely known and used resource in regards to shopping, research, advertising, or answers to just about any questions you may have. Now as simple as that may seem, depending on the subject of what you are looking for, going to any random search engine may not be the most helpful, unless you know the category for what each search engine is used towards. Each search engine is specifically designed under a certain subject, such as all-purpose, books, business, games, jobs, etc. The reason for this is so any user can find what they are looking for much faster and probably from a more reliable resource.
